Microsoft Book
In 1999, the partners of Cain Creative were hired as writers and creative directors for Inside Out, a photojournalistic book about the history of Microsoft. We worked on the project for over a year, traveling to locations around the world with other members of a team of hand-picked creative consultants. After interviewing more than 400 employees from every level, department, and subsidiary of the company, we eventually produced a big, beautiful, 11-pound, 315-page volume that was published by Time Warner Books in 2000, just in time to celebrate Microsoft's 25th anniversary.
